Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care and clerical/administrative activities.

The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.

- Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Performs a variety of administrative duties to support efficient operations including copying, faxing, and mail distribution. Maintains accurate and organized records, logs, and files as assigned.
