A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural / Bridge Project Manager for their Effingham office!
Responsibilities :
Team member of Structural / Bridge Design Group
Manage projects by directing the design coordinating work between staff / design team and creating scope / budgets
Analyze and design bridges culverts foundations and other transportationrelated and building structures
Main contact for clients contractors and local officials
Prepare engineering project proposals
Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
- 8 years of bridge design experience
- Registered PE
- Registered IL Structural Engineer
- Project Management experience with DOT clients
- Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
- Proficient in MicroStation / ORD platforms and structural analysis / design software
- Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel CastinPlace Concrete Precast Prestressed Concrete
- Knowledge of construction methods structural inspections and construction document preparation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
