8 hours/10 Month position
Temporary for the 2024-2025 school year
Job Summary
Assists teaching staff by performing instructional tasks with students in small groups and one-on-one settings, record keeping, and supervision. In addition, serves as a resource to staff in managing student behavior, primarily Check In/Check Outs and problem-solving support as needed.
Qualificiations
An employee in this position is expected to have the ability to help school staff establish and maintain a positive climate of learning. This position requires experience in:
-Student behavior management experience including work with behavior plans.
-Excellent communication with students, staff, and parents.
-Experience and skills in Reading/Writing, and Math instruction in small groups.
-Experience working with special needs students.
-Strong organization, clerical and technology skills, including word processing, Google Docs, and a variety of software programs.
-Experience with adhering to confidentiality standards and ensuring student safety.
