Description
Mechanical Engineer III
Job Requirements include but are not limited to :
- Engineer has gained broad experience in multiple project and / or client types, or garnered enough experience in a single client or project type to be seen as a highly knowledgeable in that particular area.
- Engineer has the ability to lead a client / client team (1-5 staff), most project types, or major portions of large project utilizing their experience and education in HVAC and / or plumbing design.
- Engineer should have thorough understanding of energy codes and their impact on building designs. Engineer should have a thorough understanding of Trane Trace, including energy analysis.
- Engineer can work in an independent manner on most project and / or client types with minimal to no oversight by Engineer or Team Lead.
- Engineer should have a thorough knowledge of most HVAC systems, whether simple or complex, as well as the associated controls.
- Engineer should have a thorough knowledge of sewer, gas and water systems and fully understand the engineering related to each.
