Position Summary
The selected candidate will exercise independent judgment and discretion daily while collaborating with Producers, Executives, Account Executives, and clients to ensure the success of the department. This role involves providing expert advice on insurance coverage issues, as well as addressing general litigation matters involving clients.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions :
- Address client and carrier coverage issues.
- Review coverage position letters from carriers to identify potential disputes.
- Evaluate and interpret contract documents for insureds and industry contacts.
- Serve as the primary client contact for insurance coverage questions, claims, and related issues.
- Assist the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Coverage Team with in-house educational seminars.
- Collaborate with the Claims Department to assess liability exposures, ensure reserve adequacy, and develop resolution strategies for liability claims.
