Position Summary
The Account Executive interacts with clients and carriers to meet and exceed their ongoing insurance and risk management needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with a diverse group of clients and colleagues in a team environment focused on delivering customer satisfaction.
- Provide support for producers.
- Actively develop positive relationships with current and prospective clients and carrier contacts / underwriters.
- Achieve client retention targets.
- Follow best practices and suggest improvements to enhance workflows and prevent potential errors and omissions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of markets, policies, and products.
- Understand clients’ businesses, strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs.
- Serve as an advocate for clients.
- Provide day-to-day service to ensure client needs are met.
- Maintain quality service plans, open item reports, policy expiration / renewal tracking, and completion.
- Complete policy reviews and request corrections as necessary.
- Manage invoicing and certificate processes.
- Request, track, and process audits and endorsements.
- Collect exposure information for new business and renewals.
- Create submissions and prepare proposals for accounts not handled by marketing.
- Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule at company facilities and travel for business as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
