Project Coordinator
Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a premier design, fabrication, and management firm to find a talented Project Coordinator! As Project Coordinator, you will assist during all phases of the production process: estimating, procurement, fabrication, finishing, packing, delivery, installation, and punch list completion.
In this role, Project Coordinators are creative, dedicated team members who are comfortable wearing multiple hats throughout the workday. As a contributing member to all stages of the management process, being detail-oriented and highly organized will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in all aspects of the production process to ensure project goals are achieved, maintaining the project schedule and budget
- Coordinate with internal team members and external contacts, including clients and vendors, to ensure smooth coordination of production jobs
- Assist with project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and resource schedules
- Monitor ongoing work in the wood and metal shops and create clear reports for project managers
- Work with project managers to understand product requirements and fabrication techniques
- Track inbound materials and coordinate their distribution across shops
- Support project managers in resolving issues and conflicts as they arise
- Assist with purchasing, vendor coordination, and quality control
- Attend on-site meetings and assist with field measurements
- Take minutes at project meetings as needed
- Professionally represent the firm with clients, general contractors, and others — both virtually and in person
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field such as Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Interior Design
- 1 years of experience designing and/or working in commercial and hospitality environments
- Functional knowledge of construction documents, specifications, shop drawings, and detailing
- Ability to work independently and think critically with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and vendors
- Highly detail-oriented and diligent in all aspects of project management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a forward-thinking mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management systems such as accounting/cost software, scheduling programs, and documentation tracking systems preferred
- General knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
