Department Description
The goal of TRP’s Immigrant Justice Department (IJ) is to provide opportunities for authentic local immigrant leadership, to offer holistic community-based immigration legal services, and to work in coalitions to expand access to legal representation. The Immigrant Justice Legal Clinic offers direct legal services while engaging clients in advocacy and education, and provides resources for the community to prepare for changes in immigration policy.
General Job Description
The Digital Outreach Coordinator is responsible for maintaining digital and communications infrastructure to reach TRP’s base and external stakeholders. In coordination with the IJ and Communications departments, the Digital Outreach Coordinator assists in the design and implementation of digital and communications strategy related to community education and deportation defense.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities General
· Assist with implementation of communications and media strategy related to deportation defense
· Must keep current of changes in immigration law and procedures.
· Maintain required job skills and core professional competencies.
· Attend and participate in required educational programs and staff meetings.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· In partnership with TRP Marketing and Communications and Immigrant Justice team, digital strategy, including identifying key goals and measurable outcomes.
· In partnership with marketing and Comm Review and monitor social media insights and website data
Maintaining Platforms
· Manage at least 2 websites one of which serves as a shared platform for various immigrant serving organizations from across the state
· Plan, create, and manage content across digital platforms in alignment with organizational values and brand guidelines.
· Build out SMS campaign to reach community with timely information
Content Creation
· Create and edit videos for social media, workshop recordings, and other organizational needs.
· Create social media posts, graphics, asset packages, and visually appealing materials using branding guidelines.
Partner Engagement and Relationship Management
· Set up system and process for partner organizations to submit links or collateral for statewide website.
· Work with Immigrant Justice Organizing team to create digital communications strategy for TRP base and campaigns.
· Build and maintain partner and member lists.
Performance Measures
· Successful implementation of digital strategy
· Successful coordination of TRP Immigrant Justice internal communications and digital workflows
· Successful maintenance of TRP Immigrant Justice platforms
· Successful reach of desired metrics for digital campaigns
Essential Knowledge and Skills
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
· Demonstrated commitment to immigrant justice.
· Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment.
· Experience with social media strategy, content development, and best practices in digital organizing for brands/organizations.
· Experience or interest in building and maintaining websites
· Experience with graphic design
· Experience or interest in photography
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with people of diverse social, faith, economic and racial/ethnic backgrounds.
· Excellent verbal, analytical, writing, and organization skills. Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Square, Zoom, Canva, and social media platforms
Special Working Conditions and Demands
· On-site work schedule: as needed, and no less than 3 days per week
· Willingness to work flexible hours; some evenings and weekends required.
· Access to a car, valid driver’s license and insurance, and ability to travel throughout the state.

Position Classification and Salary Full-Time, Exempt, Essential. An essential employee is defined as an individual who is required to report onsite to maintain the critical services and operational functions of the organization such as, but not limited to, safety, sanitation, and the essential operation of residences, buildings, and services for TRP.
$60,000 - $70,000 annually
