Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to our venues and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and wait times accurately, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Escort customers to their assigned dining or bar areas, providing menus and introducing our wait staff.
- Greet customers upon departure, ensuring they have a positive last impression.
- Coordinate with wait staff to optimize seating options and maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests requiring special attention, such as children or the elderly.
- Answer incoming calls and address customer queries professionally.
- Assist wait staff as needed to maintain a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette and protocols.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience in managing reservations and wait times.
- Demonstrable customer-service skills, with a focus on exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone and in-person interactions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Availability to work in shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience as a host/hostess is preferred, but not required.
- Must successfully complete our comprehensive training program.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; hospitality certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
