6th Grade Science/SS Teacher
Harrison Middle School is accepting applications for a 6th Grade Teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE)
This teaching position is within the Harrison Middle School. Primary duties will focus on 6th grade Science, and Social Studies Standards. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
Harrison Middle School is seeking an individual who will:

create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth

establish effective rapport with pupils

motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for Middle School Education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability

formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members

use formative and summative assessments with colleagues to improve student learning

demonstrate effective communication within the school community

adept with learning management systems and digital instruction (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc)

attain or possess Google Level One Certification (Preferred)
