7th Grade ELA/Science Teacher

Harrison Middle School is accepting applications for a 7th Grade ELA/Science position for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE)

This teaching position is within the Harrison Middle School.  Primary duties will focus on grade 7th grade ELA/Science Standards.  Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. 
 
Harrison Middle School is seeking an individual who will:

• establish effective rapport with pupils

• motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for Middle School Education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability

• formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members

• use formative and summative assessments with colleagues to improve student learning

• demonstrate effective communication within the school community

• adept with learning management systems and digital instruction (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc)

• attain or possess Google Level One Certification (Preferred)
