Alternative Learning Environment Teacher / Coach
Harrison School District is accepting applications for an ALE Teacher/Coach position for the 2025-2026 school year. Available coaching positions include JH Football/DC, JH Football, JR Boys Bball, Tennis, and Assistant Track. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position for grades 9-12. Applicants must hold the appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
● Job Requirements: (Include, but not limited to)
o Arkansas DESE 9-12 ALE certification (additional certifications preferred)
o Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
o Create and deliver specialized instruction following ALE standards
o Utilize High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)
o Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
o Appropriate classroom management skills and establish rapport with students
o Effective engagement of students in the classroom
o Formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
o Demonstrate effective communication within the school community
o Must engage in collaboration and the PLC process
o Effectively use LMS and digital resources (CANVAS/Google Classroom)
o Attain or possess Google Level One Certification
o Willingness to attain a CDL
