Role Overview: We're looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for performing structural engineering design calculations, detailing and plan set production for wood, concrete, structural steel, and masonry structures for different construction projects.
HWH has an effective method for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday Friday
*Depending on demand, in some instances, extended work hours may be needed
What You'll Do:
- Performs civil engineering design calculations, detailing and plan set production for site, transportation, drainage, water, wastewater and floodplain management projects.
- Works under the supervision of senior staff (Professional Engineer) to produce quality designs and plans and interpret plans from other engineering related disciplines (survey, utility, architectural, MEP etc.)
- Reviews construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.
- Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
