STARTING PAYRATE: $10-$13 (negotiable depending on experience)
PRIMARY WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
JOBSITE LOCATION: Maxton, North Carolina
JOB SUMMARY: Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, erecting, sealing or wrapping containers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine
Stops machine and reports malfunction to Line Leader
Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides or clearing away damaged product containers
Inspects packaged containers to ensure that product is packaged according to specification and meet food safety and quality requirements as applicable
Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED; and six months to three years related experience.
