What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board?
HRCSB is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Payroll Specialist. This position is full time with benefits. The Payroll Specialist holds the primary responsibility for payroll including, but not limited to, timesheet entry, leave records, direct deposit, and all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and filings. This position works closely with the other members of the Finance Department and the Human Resources Department and therefore must work well in a team environment. The selected candidate should have strong computer skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail. Previous payroll experience is required. General knowledge of the behavioral health field and CSB’s is preferred.
