Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) leads the HR function of an Eataly store, providing direction on interpretation of policies, recruitment and selection, onboarding, benefits administration, training, performance management, employee relations, terminations and more. Reports directly to the Director of Store Operations and reports functionally to the VP of HR.
- Collaborates with the VP of HR to deploy a fully integrated people strategy for the whole employee lifecycle, serving as a liaison between the corporate center and store team
- Manages, schedules and collaborates with the local Human Resources team which consists of a Human Resources Generalist and a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Partners with senior leadership to ensure the HR strategy is structured and functioning to best support business and financial objectives
- Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation by establishing and leading orientation and onboarding programs
- Manages complex employee relations issues : conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisors
- Helps to develop and facilitate a company-wide training and development platform, which outlines base / foundational requirements, provides clear career progression and allows for opportunities to add and strengthen skills
- Ensures legal compliance : monitors and implements applicable HR federal and state requirements; conducts investigations; maintains records; represents the organization at hearings if necessary
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
