Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and will be eager to contribute to our continued success and growth. Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and payment requests.
- Maintain financial records and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Prepare reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure seamless financial operations, including job costing and reporting specific to the construction industry.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the implementation of best practices in financial management and accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
