Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

Hartel, DeSantis & Murray, LLP, an AV-Rated Maryland litigation law firm practicing in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, seeks experienced, full time, hardworking, detail-oriented team players to join our team with at least ONE year insurance defense litigation experience. Duties may include, but not limited to:

• Draft correspondence
• Draft pleadings (answers, discovery, deposition notices, etc.) from forms;
• Efile documents with various courts;
• Schedule and note depositions;
• Subpoena medical records and draft letters of assurance;
• Request medical records by authorizations;
• Organize/index medical records;
• Summarize medical records;
• Schedule IMEs and MRRs;
• Conferences (telephone, in-person, or Zoom) with clients to answer discovery;
• Request police reports and other public information requests (FOIA requests);
• Request MVA records;
• Enter time into case management system;
• Filing and general office duties;
• Any other assignments/duties as requested.
