What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Partnerships Activation Intern position at Hartford Athletic?

Overview: Hartford Athletic is seeking motivated Corporate Partnership Activation Interns looking to learn and grow within the sports and entertainment industry. Corporate Partnership Activation Interns will report to the Coordinator, Corporate Partnership Activations and are responsible for assisting the Partnerships team on aspects including logging proofs of performance, creating mid-season partner recaps via DigiDeck and supporting community and match day activations. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of soccer or sports, a foundation in marketing and Microsoft Office Suite, and a desire to communicate and assist with partners on a daily basis. Please note that this is an unpaid internship, which requires 1 days per week in our Windsor office and occasional gamedays on weekends at Trinity Health Stadium.
Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of the Corporate Partnerships team
- Assist the department in generating partnership leads within the Greater Hartford community
- Assist with writing and developing proposals and/or materials for prospective partners
- Assist with the creation of mid-season partner recaps via DigiDeck, displaying proofs of performance collected
- Assist with partnership fulfillment, activation and annual reports
- Support Corporate Partnership staff during home matches and assist with community engagement events
- Assist with matchday setup and takedown of activation elements
- Be an ambassador of the Club within the corporate community
- Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Club

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
- Ability work in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to listen, learn, and grow
- Strong time-management skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficient skills of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google software
- Working knowledge of soccer
Requirements:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit, otherwise must be a volunteer
- Available to work 10-20 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and match days
- Conversational and written Spanish language proficiency preferred
