POSITION: Multifamily Customer Service Representative
SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Multifamily Customer Service Representative will be a self-motivated team member who is detail-oriented and determined to provide outstanding service to customers and internal team members. The Multifamily Customer Service Representative will manage countertop and cabinet orders for multifamily projects from ordering stage through delivery. Coordination with Project Managers, contractors and suppliers is an essential part of the position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE
· Highly dependable with excellent work attendance record
· Detail oriented with excellent accuracy
· Knowledge of and experience with quoting processes
· Experience troubleshooting discrepancies in the order process
· Knowledge of managing purchase orders and contracts
· Proficiency with Office PC applications (i.e. MS Word/Excel)
· Ability to manage and respond to electronic communication in a timely manner
· Confident learning new applications
· Must have the ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
· Past experience in the kitchen and cabinet industry preferred
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and respond to electronic and phone communication daily
· Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and timelines.
· Organize project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
· Resolve issues with customers – contractors, building project managers
· Meet with department leaders to discuss custom delivery schedules
· Respond professionally to customers and project managers
· Coordinate purchase orders and quotes and track schedules for multiple orders
· Prepare and monitor material orders
· Available and willing to work overtime as needed
· Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Ability to sit at a desk for periods of time and walk or stand for short periods
· Ability to work in an open office environment
EXPECTED HOURS
· Availability to work 8 hours per day and additional overtime hours Monday - Friday
· Availability to start work before regular shift and remain after shift
