Boutique Fairfield County-based property management company is seeking a Building Superintendent to become part of a team! You will be responsible for ensuring that a portfolio of Class A office, retail, industrial and multi-family apartment properties are maintained at the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities :
- Complete daily building inspections and perform follow-up maintenance work as required or directed
- Maintain the physical appearance of the properties to a Class A standard
- Pick up debris and trash in parking lots and around buildings
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and vacant spaces
- Inspect all building systems to ensure proper operation and maintenance
- Make recommendations for repairs, maintenance and replacements
- Perform light repairs of mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems as needed
- Coordinate with building contractors and supervise contracted work
- Establish relationships with and maintain effective communications with tenants
- Respond to service calls / tenant requests
- Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Respond to building emergencies, including after-hours emergencies
