Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and boost sales for both the restaurant and the gift shop. This role requires a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management - Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms to promote our menu, events, and gift shop offerings.
- Content Creation - Develop compelling graphics, photos, and videos to showcase our food, products, and guest experiences.
- Website & SEO - Maintain and update the restaurant’s website, ensuring menus, promotions, and events are current. Optimize search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility.
- Email & SMS Marketing - Design and execute email newsletters and text message campaigns to inform customers about specials, promotions, and events.
- Advertising & Promotions - Plan and execute digital and traditional ad campaigns, including social media ads, Google Ads, and local print ads
- Event Promotion - Help plan and market in-house events, holiday specials, live entertainment, and seasonal promotions.
- Loyalty & Customer Engagement - Assist with loyalty programs and customer review management, responding to feedback to enhance guest experience.
- Analytics & Reporting - Track and analyze marketing performance, using insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality, retail, or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and engagement strategies.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software is a plus.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and website management (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
- Understanding of digital advertising, SEO, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills to create engaging content.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
