What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical CMA position at Hartwell Family Practice?
Assist provider with day-to-day duties in relation to patient care, including but not limited to:
-Work up patients for assigned provider
-Perform any lab duties including UA, Hgb, needle sticks for laboratory studies, Drug screens, hemoccult card testing, injections, and finger stick blood sugar testing.
-Take X-rays
-Answer messages
-Perform any duties asked of you by assigned provider in relation to patient care
-Cleaning lab
-Restocking treatment rooms
-Restocking laboratory
-Putting up stock as it arrives from the suppliers
-Complete assigned tasks (i.e. laundry, supply ordering, cleaning)
-Other duties to be assigned as needed
Schedule is 07:45am to approximately 5:00pm (when finished for the day) Monday-Friday (1 hour for lunch). Occasional rotations of Saturday 8:30-12 (about once per month) with the following Friday off. (Hours listed may vary and are subject to change). One year medical office CMA experience REQUIRED. Starting pay may vary based on relevant experience.
