The Job
A CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by working hand-in-hand with our Sales Engineers to provide support and be a technical resource to ensure satisfaction. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the us to provide the best manufacturing solutions and support to the CNC machine tool industry. This position is based in Dallas / Fort Worth and supports customers in the surrounding area.
Main responsibilities of this full-time position include :
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommending industry-leading solutions
- Develop and test alternative processing methods
- Perform time studies for process improvement recommendations
- Oversee CNC machine tool installations
- Conduct research and assist in presenting proposals
- Perform on-site programming and machine operation training
- Facilitate demonstrations by setting up and programming the machine tools
