Description:
Assemble and fabricate metal cabinets, enclosures, bases, and/or other components.
- Assist the crane operator by providing clear and precise signals to ensure safe and efficient crane movements.
- Continuously monitor the work area to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Guide the positioning of loads, ensuring they are moved safely and accurately.
- Maintain constant communication with the crane operator and other team members to coordinate movements and operations.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of rigging and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good condition and safe to use.
- Stay updated on safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any issues related to crane operations promptly and efficiently.

- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow established safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.
- Experience around bridge cranes and advanced rigging.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws safely.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Requires good judgment, and ability to work with others and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Experience operating a forklift preferred.
