The Quality Assurance Manager is a member of a high-performing team that focuses on the development and implementation of a world-class online learning platform (LXP). This is an ideal opportunity to work at the intersection of online education and technical innovation, and in an organization that values creativity, collaboration, and diverse perspectives and backgrounds. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead a team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the quality assurance program for multiple large components of the LXP platform, while establishing and using industry-class quality assurance practices and processes. The Quality Assurance Manager will contribute to a culture of collaboration and openness within the team and with partners.

Typical core duties:
- Direct all quality control aspects of application processes (studies, research, testing, operations)
- Anticipate system wide risks, recommend QA solutions, and facilitate response.
- Prepare and present communications on topics including quality standards, process changes, change management, test case management.
- Represent the department internally and externally.
- Abide by and follow the Harvard University IT technical standards, policies, and Code of Conduct.
- Other duties as needed or required.
- Minimum of seven years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience
- Supervisory experience
The following Additional Qualifications are strongly preferred. If you meet some, but not all, you are still encouraged to apply; we value employees with a willingness to learn:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test management software (Zephyr, TestRail, etc.)
- Experience with test automation and manual testing; and overseeing and managing quality assurance engineers.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and related testing tools, and with performance and security testing.
- Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred
- Work is performed in an office setting

- Fully remote is for work locations over 150 miles from campus and within an approved Harvard registered payroll state.
