Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper with knowledge of all phases of accounting through the Trial Balance. Responsible for A/R, A/P, Payroll and general office duties. Knowledge of QuickBooks and ADP payroll a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation.
- Perform other general office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A degree in Accounting or related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
