Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, employee relations, and talent acquisition. This role is responsible for caregiver schedules, interviewing & hiring new caregivers, providing orientation and training for new caregivers and works with the Administrative Team to ensure all staff have appropriate basic training and attend required in-services.
Responsibilities
-Complete and distribute the monthly caregiver schedule according to policy and protocol
-Schedule orientation and training for new staff
-Schedule CBRF classes, coordinating with RN training
-Schedule caregivers for attending in-services
-Review and approve vacation requests (per policy) and shift swaps, implement these changes into the schedule
-Track and document all call-ins and attendance records
-Implement pre-employment and orientation folders with new caregivers
-Provide and review trainer checklist with new hires and with the caregiver trainer as needed
-Provide any necessary caregiver training as directed
-Observe caregivers as directed
-Follow up with new caregivers within first week after training and during 90 day probationary period
-Assists with interview process by attending interview, reviewing referrals and previous employment
-Be on a rotating on-call schedule to assist with staffing needs after hours (additional compensation)
-Schedules shadow time for potential hire
-Attend administrative team meetings
-All other tasks as requested
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
-CBRF Certification in the state of Wisconsin preferred but not required
-CNA or Care-giving experience preferred but not required
-Enjoys working with the elderly, relates well with people in general
-Able to lead and motivate people, excellent interpersonal skills
-Able to multi-task
-Have great organizational skills
-Professional appearance and attitude
-Verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
