Position: Expeditor/Server

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to fill a dual role as an Expeditor and Server. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team 1 player with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities (Expeditor):

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Maintain clear communication between kitchen staff and servers.
• Inspect dishes for presentation, quality, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
• Organize and manage the flow of orders to ensure efficient service.
• Assist with plating and garnishing dishes as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Address any order discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities (Server):

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.
• Prepare and present accurate bills and process payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Bus tables and reset them for new guests.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Expeditor and/or Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trays and plates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
