We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to fill a dual role as an Expeditor and Server. Responsibilities (Expeditor):
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Maintain clear communication between kitchen staff and servers.
- Inspect dishes for presentation, quality, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
- Organize and manage the flow of orders to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Address any order discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities (Server):
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.
- Prepare and present accurate bills and process payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Bus tables and reset them for new guests.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Expeditor and/or Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays and plates.
