So What (Exactly) is an Operations Manager?

The Operations Manager partners closely with the three main functions of Operations and other internal HMC staff to bring clients’ visions of all shapes and sizes to life – whether it’s a wedding, a corporate gala, or intimate dinner party. Responsibilities include providing a safe work environment and lead the warehouse team by scheduling the staff and providing a consolidated plan to pull, load, deliver, and recover rentals equipment; managing the maintenance and usage of the HMC vehicle fleet; overseeing linen processing; manage basic facility maintenance and custodial requirements; maintain rental and disposable inventories; supervise the Packout and Beverage sub-divisions of the larger Operations Department.

The Minimum You'll Do:

· Lead the Rentals function: consolidate pick-lists, provide a vehicle loading, delivery and pick-up schedule and manage the Packout and Beverage functions to support our mission
· Building team cohesion and providing training are key to the success of the Ops function
- Oversee basic facility maintenance and custodial needs to maintain a safe and clean workplace
- You must be able to drive HMC vehicles (CDL not required)
- You’re physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand on your feet for long durations
- Be enthusiastic (Over the Moon!) about exceptional client experiences and a positive, motivational team member

Your Experience, Education, and Training:

- You have a high degree of proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office products
- You have 5 years of general management experience; 3 years of operations management experience; with at least 1 year of inventory or hospitality management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
