Key Responsibilities:

• Outreach Strategy: Develop and implement government relations strategies to build productive relationships with federal, state, and local officials, as well as regulatory bodies.

• Advocacy & Influence: Represent Harvest Solutions in legislative discussions and public forums, advocating for policies that support our goals and enhance our impact.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for government agencies, including corrections institutions, treatment centers, veterans’ organizations, SNAP administrators, juvenile detention centers, and other social service programs.

• Policy Monitoring: Analyze legislative developments and advise the executive team on potential risks and opportunities.

• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and pursue collaborative opportunities with government entities, public organizations, and industry leaders to drive mutual success.

• Public Representation: Organize and lead meetings, briefings, and events with government officials and policymakers to showcase Harvest Solution’s contributions and advocate for our initiatives.

• Regulatory Navigation: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in all government interactions.

• Thought Leadership: Position Harvest Solutions as a trusted partner and thought leader in its industry by highlighting the social and economic impact of its programs and services.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a dedicated team of government relations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Collaborate with internal departments, including legal, public relations, product development, and marketing, to ensure outreach efforts align with overall business objectives.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 8 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or policy advocacy, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success in influencing legislation, securing regulatory approvals, and building relationships with government officials and agencies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to navigate complex policy environments and align government outreach strategies with business objectives.
