The Mechanical Engineer Specialist will be designated as an Owner’s Representative for Facilities Infrastructure Programs and as Subject Matter Expert (SME). The position is responsible for providing professional engineering services to oversee and coordinate all aspects of technical engineering for capital and lifecycle projects, ensuring alignment with company’s objectives, operational requirements, and quality standards. Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to design reviews, internal / external multi-disciplinary coordination, collaboration with companies functional, maintenance, and operational teams, construction support, commissioning support, support for project close-out activities and ensuring compliance with companies Good Engineering Practices (GEPs).

General Responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineer will act as designated Owner Representative and SME on behalf of Technical Engineering. The Mechanical Engineer will provide oversight and coordination for capital and lifecycle projects while ensuring alignment with company’s objectives and representing companies interests throughout all assigned scopes of work, as outlined below.
Key Requirements
o Qualified and technically proficient Mechanical Engineer of five (5) plus years of relevant experience and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, to support Facilities Capital Projects as an Owner’s Representative and Subject Matter Expert.
o Knowledge and experience with understanding of design documents, drawings, and specifications.
o Experience and familiarity in Mechanical wet and dry systems, central plants, distribution, and all infrastructural systems such as fire protection, cooling towers, chillers, heating hot water generation, air-handling units, pumps, controls & instrumentation, hazardous monitoring, plumbing, and process systems.
o Familiarity and understanding of HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, sustainability elements, and duct static and hydronic calculations.
o Demonstrate ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams and prioritization.
o Self-driven and performance and results oriented in a fast-paced work environment.
o Comprehensive project oversight and adherence to project schedules, awareness of project budgets, ensuring timely execution of tasks, and effective risk mitigation strategies.
o Suppliers will follow established practices and processes as documented in Good Engineering Practices (GEPs) and any Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and associated documents.
o Establish and maintain clear, concise, and effective stakeholder communication.
o Ensure local, state, and national codes, regulations and standards, as well as regulatory and organizational compliance and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risk
The hiring range for this position is $90-$115 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.

Salary : $90 - $115
