Role:
To assist members with their loan requests, providing clerical and administrative support needed to process and close member loans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 80% Receives all indirect documentation including contracts, verifying amount to be financed, APR, terms/rates are correct as approved and that the contract has been properly executed by member as well as that assignment by indirect representative to Credit Union is complete. Processes and funds approved loans including pulling credit reports, verifies loan/NADA values and DTI ratio.
Sets up date and time to close the loan and make disbursements. Cross-sells other services.

N 15% Files loan documents with the appropriate agencies.

N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:
1. Produce loan documents, reports, and new accounts with no unresolved errors according to established department standards.

2. Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to email, answering telephone within 3 rings and replying to messages by the end of the day.

3. Complete, organize and close loan documentation and files within allotted time frame.

4. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

6. Ability to cross train and support in all areas covered under the Consumer Loan Manager including
Mortgage, Dealer, Consumer and Commercial Loans.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Six months to two years of similar or related experience in Symitar and on Opening Act.

Education A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills

Physical Ability to sit/stand and utilize computer workstation, including phones, keyboard and visual
