We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Spokane, WA location.
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance or instrumentation certificate
- Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation
- Knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic & hydraulic operations
- Read/understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
- Strong team, verbal, and written skills
Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Engineer must possess the desire and ability to maintain all plant equipment
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; and monitoring compliance
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
- Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and calibration
- Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics
- General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems
- Understand the theory behind process flow
Nice to Have’s
- Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
