Production Team Lead - Powder Coat Paint

We are looking for an experienced Production Team Lead to organize and oversee manufacturing on 1st shift. You will be responsible for the smooth running of powder coat paint lines and the quality of output. Experience in powder coat paint and a manufacturing environment is a plus. This position will work Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain normal job expectations including attendance, productivity, and efficiencies.
• Serve as a role model for operators in safety, quality, attendance, conduct, performance and efficiency.
• Monitors and schedules daily production and adjust as necessary.
• Assign and direct work of Team Members.
• Works with other PTLs and Managers across the floor and plants for scheduling.
• Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with all quality and regulatory requirements.
• Rewarding and disciplining employees per HV Guidelines.
• Review production set-ups for accuracy and quality requirements.
• Assist in trouble shooting of machines
• Enable effective communication between management, team members and others in the organization.
• Train new employees and coach existing employees.
• Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol.
• Report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance, HV House Rules violations).
• Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas.
• Assist with Non-Conforming and Corrective Action Reports.
• Ensure all records are completed appropriately.
• Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified.
• Ensure achievement of production throughput against stated capacity targets.
• Work with Master Scheduler on timelines/workflow, as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 5 Years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with interacting with multiple groups of people and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent safety records.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Strong record of good attendance.
• Powder Coat Paint experience a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
