Job Description
Seeking a contract resource for the role of Technology Support Specialist. Responsible for the maintenance of data dictionaries, equipment and software installation and upgrades, data conversions, system utilities and change control as well as coordinating problem resolution and referrals to other support areas.
ü Hardware support for computer peripherals, and infrastructure equipment, and / or
ü Core Business Software Support, and / or
ü External Software.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Education : Associate's degree in computer science.
Education Substitute : High School Diploma with 2 yrs. job related experience.
TRAINING REQUIREMENT : 24 hours of non-billable training time are required for this position.
ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE :
- Computer technical certification in MOS, MTA, MCP, A OR MCITP
- Identify trends in incidents
- Cross trains other service techs
- Submit solutions to supervisor for knowledgebase articles
- Communicate with computer system users to provide training and / or assistance for software application
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft TEAMS.
