Grain Sampler/Tech/Grader

Job Overview
The Grain Sampler plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of grain products. This position involves collecting samples from various grain sources, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Duties

• Collect representative samples of grain from trucks, bins, and other storage facilities.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that samples meet established specifications.
• Perform quality assurance tasks by analyzing samples for moisture content, foreign materials, and other quality indicators.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to sample analysis.
• Document findings accurately and maintain detailed records of sample collection and analysis results.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of agricultural practices or experience working on a farm is a plus.
• Basic math skills are essential for performing measurements and calculations accurately.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
