Hastings Insurance is seeking an Advertising Multimedia Specialist to join its Advertising & Communications team! The Advertising Multimedia Specialist is responsible for supporting Hastings Insurance's informational multimedia products, which are technology-based and include websites, videos, digital design, and print production.

Position Location & Schedule Details
- This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position, typically working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Employees must be able to work at our Hastings, Michigan corporate headquarters, either daily or in a "hybrid" arrangement of on-site and remote work.
- Makes technical recommendations for external and internal multimedia communications:
- Acts as lead technical expert in multimedia communication implementation projects.
- Assists other departments in creating multimedia communications.
- Acts as technical implementation partner for Company communication tools, including website, mobile, video, photography, digital, and print.
- Produces, edits, and develops multimedia projects for all departments.
- Provides multimedia support for graphic design artists and communication team members.
- Uses skills and expertise in appropriate software packages, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro CC, and InDesign.)
- Assists in promotions and advertisements.
- Promotes a positive image for Hastings Insurance:
- Designs and develops various media to ensure interactive, efficient, cost-effective deliverables.
- Conduct quality checks on work before submission.
- Coordinates with various team members to deliver high-quality products.
- Edits video and audio to support multimedia projects.
- Evaluates design concepts and recommend improvements.
- Works with vendors, including website developers, graphic designers, and print companies.
- Creates multimedia deliverables that adhere to the brand and style guide.
- Actively participates in professional development, i.e., continuing education or self-improvement.
- Other duties assigned by leadership, either verbally or in writing.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with creative qualifications (i.e., Graphic Design, Multimedia Technology, etc.)
- Two years minimum multimedia experience.
- A good eye for design, layout, and detail, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated Experience working with content management mediums.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, consultants, and Hastings Insurance staff.
- Demonstrated PC skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite.
