What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Computer Systems Operator position at Hastings Mutual?
Hastings Insurance is seeking a second-shift Computer Systems Operator to join its IT Infrastructure and Operations team! The individual in this role will perform the basic tasks required to operate the Systems used in the Hastings Insurance IT environment on the second shift. This role will monitor Mainframe jobs, Control M batch cycling jobs, and triage any reports on non-prod and Production cycles via SBM.

- Hewlett-Packard Servers
- Control-M Job Scheduling Software
- SBM Ticketing system
- Octopus Deployment Software
Position Location & Work Format
This role operates Monday-Friday 2nd shift (3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 pm). The Operator is responsible for one Saturday (remote work) every two months. Month-end cycles are rotated between Operators as well. Basic training will begin in-house on the first shift, then move to 2nd shift with some light training in-house, but will end up as mainly remote work. There would be minimal onsite work, but it could occur occasionally.

Review and edits along with Bim Edit administration work.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Experience with Control-M Job Scheduling Software is highly desired.
