What will you be doing?
Report to the Engineering Manager and work in a multi-functional teamNew product design and developmentAbility to lead a project from inception through productionDesign new products (end items and components) in accordance with project plans and scheduleConceptualize and design pressure sensor mechanisms using oil-filled pressure buttons and packaging components for submersible-level applicationsAnalyze sensor performance parameters like pressure range, accuracy, sensitivity, and response timeCreate 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for sensor componentsCreate detailed drawing packagesChoose appropriate materials for sensor construction based on pressure ranges, temperature conditions, compatibility with fluids, and desired durabilityBuild and test prototype pressure sensors in laboratory environments to validate design concepts and performance characteristicsDevelop with manufacturing engineering temperature and pressure calibration tooling and equipmentWhat are the minimum qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field8 years of experience designing with pressure sensorsDeep understanding of pressure sensor or pressure tranducers design and applicationStrong understanding of mechanical design principles, including stress analysis, fluid mechanics, and material propertiesExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D modeling, design and simulationKnowledge of pressure sensor technologies (piezoelectric, strain gauge, differential pressure)Familiarity with data acquisition systems and signal processing techniquesProficiency in engineering analysis tools (FMEA, FEA, CFD, DFM)What will make your résumé stand out?
