We are seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator with expertise in Linux and Windows environments, focusing on Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and IT security. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of classified systems while implementing security controls and supporting IT infrastructure.
- System Administration: Maintain, secure, and optimize Linux & Windows-based servers.
- Security & Compliance: Implement RMF processes, perform continuous monitoring, and execute security controls.
- Patch Management: Conduct system updates to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Network Security: Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and provide technical guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain system configurations, standard operating procedures, and security policies.
- Collaboration: Work with the cybersecurity team, ISSM, and FSO to ensure security compliance.
- Disaster Recovery: Participate in backup operations and data restoration planning.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5 years in IT systems administration with a focus on security & compliance.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Linux & Windows environments.
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance.
Knowledge of network infrastructure & security protocols.
Virtualization & containerization experience.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret with CI Poly.
Certifications: CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE, Security , Linux .
Tools & Technologies: Automation tools, scripting languages, and virtualization platforms.
Industry Experience: Prior work in defense or government contracting environments.
