Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating efficient, scalable applications. As a Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced software solutions, focusing on enhancing automation, data accessibility, and system efficiency. This role includes creating intuitive dashboard interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, configuring back-end logic via the Niagara graphic interface, and serving as the primary MES administrator. The programmer will develop mobile applications for use with the MES and ERP systems. The programmer will also write and manage SQL-based reports and provide secondary administrative support for the ERP system. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve intuitive dashboard interfaces for the MES system using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop mobile applications for use with the MES and ERP systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements, ensuring that UI/UX designs meet business needs.
- Program and configure back-end logic using the Niagara graphic interface to enhance MES automation and functionality.
- Integrate and optimize logic solutions to maximize system efficiency and performance.
- Serve as the primary MES administrator, ensuring continuous operation and addressing any system challenges.
- Innovate and expand system capabilities to promote automation and reduce manual processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, resolving issues to maintain system reliability.
- Write, update, and manage SQL-based reports to facilitate accurate data analysis and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience writing complex queries and managing databases.
- Familiarity with the Niagara graphic interface and a strong willingness to learn proprietary systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving processes and automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently on multiple projects.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
