Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role located in New Hyde Park, NY. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for preparing and dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory control, and providing top-notch customer service. The role involves assisting pharmacists in compounding medications, ensuring accurate labeling, and handling prescription data entry.
Qualifications
- Experience with Prescription preparation and processing
- Knowledge of Pharmacy operations and procedures
- Certified Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent experience
- Inventory Control skills and knowledge
- Strong Customer Service skills with an emphasis on patient care
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification is a plus
