POSITION SUMMARY : The Hospitalist APP will work independently with physician supervision and have direct responsibility for clinical management of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service(and on patients where we provide consultative services).Assist in the clinical management of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service(and to the FGH rehab unit)Participates in treatment teams and develops and implements patient treatment care plans, records progress notes, and monitors therapeutic interventions.Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.The successful applicant will be a member of an interdisciplinary team and will work collaboratively with our physicians in providing Hospitalist inpatient care.QUALIFICATIONS : This full-time position is ideal for a highly motivated and interested PA or NP who wants to gain experience in the area of Hospitalist medicine.NYS licenseACLS & BLS requiredCurrent CPRNCCPA Certification or NP ANCC2 - 3 years of experience in Hospitalist medicine preferred.WORK SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00AM - 4 : 00PMOther detailsPay Type SalaryRequired Education CertificationApply Now
