Haumiller Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager with 10 years' experience in automation assembly and test equipment machinery as a Service Technician, Lead Machine Builder or Service Manager to join our growing team.
This role will be responsible for managing customer service needs for custom equipment. Primary duties include developing and implementing service procedures and maintaining customer relationships both domestically and internationally. Experience managing and servicing customers globally preferred.
What You Will Do:
- Develop plans and build infrastructure to service customers 24/7 globally. This may include identifying available resources, negotiate contracts with third party providers, analyze budgets and benchmark pay structures for contractors
- Manage service personnel that may be located outside the United States
- Develop and implement staff development and training programs for Test Department personnel
- Monitor changing technology and implement improvements in the design and delivery of services both domestically and globally
- Responds to applicable field failures and customer complaints
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 10 years experience in the various disciplines of the automation business such as Machine Building, Testing, Debugging and Maintenance.
- 10 years experience as a Service Manager, Service Technician, or Lead Machine Builder for automated machinery
- Experience managing and servicing customers globally preferred
- Associate s degree or certificate from college or technical school preferred
- Must understand mechanical systems and the application of controls
- Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and AC/DC electrical fundamentals
- Experience reading and understanding assembly drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics
