Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design vision, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating functional and beautiful living spaces. You will be responsible for learning Haus brand, processes, and aesthetic. Start date to begin January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Lead the design process from concept through execution, creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing residential interiors. Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle, ensuring their vision is realized in every project.
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of design projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- ·Material Selection: Source and specify furnishings, fabrics, finishes, and other materials that align with the design vision and budget.
- ·Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any design or construction challenges that arise.
- Presentations: Create compelling presentations and mood boards to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- NCIDQ certification or interest in obtaining is a bonus.
