Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Develop innovative design concepts using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, 3ds Max, and AutoCAD.
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Apply knowledge of color theory and lighting design to enhance the functionality and ambiance of spaces.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments during the implementation phase.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide clients with informed recommendations.
Experience
- Proven experience in interior design or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and 3ds Max is essential.
- Strong understanding of color theory, lighting design, and space planning principles.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience in sales collaboration is a plus, as it enhances client relationship management.
- A degree in Interior Design or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
