Haus of Lawrence is a boutique design firm specializing in interiors and architectural lighting. We’re known for crafting beautifully layered spaces that are both livable and elevated. As the studio grows, we’re seeking a Part-Time Operations Manager to bring structure to the back end of the business and help lay the foundation for future growth.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organizing chaos, loves working with creative teams, and is excited to help shape a growing design brand from the ground up.
The Role:
You’ll work directly with the Principal Designer to streamline business operations, maintain financial organization, and support company-wide growth initiatives. Your ability to think strategically and execute with precision will be key in helping us scale sustainably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, client billing, and project documentation
- Track expenses, manage budgets, and assist in preparing financial reports
- Implement and maintain operational systems (invoicing, client onboarding, internal file management, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Maintain vendor relationships, contracts, and key business documentation
- Support hiring logistics, internal growth plans, and general business development tasks
- Act as a right-hand to the Principal Designer, helping prioritize and execute key business initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a systems-first mindset
- Experience in small business operations, finance, or admin management
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and bookkeeping platforms (QuickBooks or similar)
- Bonus points for experience in the interior design, architecture, or creative industries
