Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with catering teams for special events, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in restaurant management activities, including menu planning and budgeting.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry.
- Strong skills in inventory management, food service management, and menu planning.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bartending experience is desirable but not required.
