About the Role
Haven Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a skilled RN House Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care for patients with mental health and addiction issues.
This role involves supporting nursing staff, implementing process improvements, and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing compassionate and effective behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for the provision of care in a 48-bed hospital setting
- Serve as a resource to direct care staff, addressing incidents, errors, and sentinel events
- Support the Director of Nursing with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned
- Provide direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong passion for psychiatric nursing and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience and one year of management experience preferred
